Today I guided a group of customers from Australia!
They said they had plenty of experience with fly fishing, but this was only their second time trying tenkara.
They were very eager to learn and diligently cast their rods all day long.
Unfortunately, they lost two fish (they were big!) and didn’t catch anything, but they seemed to enjoy themselves.
The rainbow trout in the photo was caught by our guide, Takashi.
We also tried fishing in the headwaters of Anazawa.
